Privacy

What this website records about visitors, and why.

Like most websites, this one keeps a record of each visit. The records are used to keep the site secure and, if it is ever attacked, to find out what happened. Each one shows your IP address, the time, the page you asked for, the page that linked you here and your browser type, plus anything tried on parts of the site that are not public. The legal basis is Mr Raykhelson’s legitimate interest in protecting the site and his legal rights.

It does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and nothing on it is loaded from other companies. Links to other websites, such as YouTube, are covered by those sites’ own privacy notices.

Records are kept for 12 months. Only the site’s technical provider and Cloudflare can see them, and they are never sold. They may be passed to legal representatives if that is needed to protect the site. The site is hosted in Europe and delivered by Cloudflare, a United States company certified under the data privacy frameworks agreed between the United States and the EU, the UK and Switzerland.

If you email the press office, your name, email address and message are kept for up to 12 months after the last message, so that it can reply. The legal basis is a legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Mr Igor Raykhelson is responsible for this website. To see, correct or delete records, or to limit how they are used, email press@igorraykhelson.com with “Privacy” in the subject line. You also have the right to object to records being kept, and can do so in the same way. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
